In the experience of embodied movement and responding to natural environments, I am participating with the elements of earth, fire and water as loose, gestural mark making and forms. Developing work from naturalistic observation and memory, my motivations are rooted in artistic freedom, intuition, ethical responsibility and self expression. By employing natural , non toxic materials and raw extractives, I am investigating materiality and the alchemy involved in the process of an honest art practice.
